A copper mailbox is more than a functional object — it becomes part of the architecture and character of the home. Each FilProfi mailbox is handcrafted from 24 oz and 48 oz sheet copper, using heavier material where extra strength and rigidity are needed. Inside, a fitted walnut or teak insert is treated with oil to protect the wood and complement the warmth of the copper.
Each mailbox can be customized in size, mounting style, and decorative details. Wall-mounted and post-mounted versions are both possible, allowing the design to fit naturally with the entrance, gate, or exterior of the home.
Natural copper begins changing almost immediately after installation. Its surface gradually darkens, develops new tones, and forms a unique patina influenced by time and environment. This gives every piece its own character while the solid copper construction remains strong and durable for many years. For clients who prefer to preserve the original copper color longer, a protective clear finish can also be applied.
